Problem #1 - Steel Roll Wipe
A major sheet steel manufacturer required a reliable system to remove contaminants from the upper finishing roller in order to prevent 'pick-up'.

Our Solution
An Origa 32/44 Powerslide cylinder was installed which reciprocated a wiper pad across the surface of the roller. Control of the stroke is by means of VOE's actuated by RS proximity switches. The whole assembly being pivoted as shown maintains the wiper pad pressure on the roller surface. The results were high reliability in a poor environment, simple operation, maintenance free and it achieves the level of cleanliness required.
